Early seventies Greco Lawsuit Jazz Bass, one of the very few made in Matsumoku, considered the best copies of USA guitars ever made.
The term ‘Lawsuit’ in English refers to a legal case where two parties confront each other in court due to one claiming harm.
The Greco Fender replicas from the late 1970s and early 1980s are similar to the early Fender Japan guitars, as Kanda Shokai owns the Greco brand and is also a part of Fender Japan. The Greco Fender replicas made by Matsumoku have Matsumoku stamped on the neckplate and the other Greco Fender replicas were made by Fuji-Gen Gakki.
Nice bass, with a strong and warm sound and a straight neck with low action. The dark rosewood blocks and binding fingerboard has the original frets with a long life to give. A perfect copy of an early seventies Jazz Bass. All original, the weight is 4,4 Kg, and comes with the original case in good condition considering the age.
